Elemental Ceramic Mug
Elemental Ceramic Mug
This durable ceramic mug features a classic representation of the Platonic Solids. Some believe that these shapes originated in Neolithic sandstone dice (2000 B.C.). Ancient Greeks gave credit to Pythagorus for their discovery... However, most refer to these forms relating to Plato's vision of the physical world. He was convinced that these polyhedrons were the link between ideal and the real, both the micro and the macro. The five elements he associated with the solids: fire, water, earth, air, and aether (energy).
The beginning of theoretical physics seems like a cool concept to wake up with... as long as there is coffee in that mug!
Each mug has .25" thick walls and can hold 11oz of your favorite beverage.
